Iain Dale (pictured) presenting at Government 2010 last year. Government 2020 follows last year's ground-breaking Government 2010 event.
Drawing together some of the most provocative thinkers, Government 2020 will seek to paint a picture of the future of government. Government 2020 is being jointly organised by Quadriga Consulting and The Futures Company with a live web streamed broadcast by Switch New Media.
The Government 2020 conference is to help stimulate debate and to put some arguments behind some of the options for change. The conference will be streamed, live, from London, in November 2010.
Our intention is to throw out a series of informed guesses that might inform policy makers. We’ll draw together leading business people, journalists, technologists, think-tanks, bloggers, futurists and researchers.
What will government look like in 10 years time?
In November 2010 we intend to hold an event that focuses overtly on discussing how government might evolve over the next decade: Government 2020. This follows our hugely successful Government 2010 event in October last year.
The discussion is a timely one.
The new UK coalition government is, itself, stimulating a debate relating to how government is constituted.
But we want to really challenge our speakers, our viewers and our delegates to think how things might change over the next decade.
