Kevin Franklin

Kevin Franklin is the Project Leader of Qt Insights (and  is Associate Director, Quadriga Consulting). Kevin  has considerable experience of the Qt developer ecosystem and for several years led the Qt partnering and training activities at Nokia. His team supported the Qt developer community through a period of 10x growth, helping Qt reach new developers across mobile, desktop and embedded systems. He also served on an executive management team at Nokia responsible for developer relations, helping a global network of partners successfully develop apps and mobile enterprise solutions.

Kevin has 25 years’ experience spanning telecoms, software platforms, and mobile technologies from several business and product development roles including Symbian, Avaya, Psion and 3Com. Over the years Kevin has produced several white papers on technology adoption and usage, and was co-author of the de-facto standard 5-year market forecast for DAB Digital Radio that defined the market during its early years of growth. He has a Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester, and is currently based in London.

Jeff Peel
Jeff Peel

Jeffrey Peel is the Qt Insights Research Director (and is Managing Director of Quadriga Consulting). He is a recognized industry specialist in research and evidence based consulting. Jeff has considerable client and agency side marketing communications and strategic marketing expertise. His clients have included HP, 3Com, PwC, AT&T, BT, Microsoft, IBM, Oxford Economics, GSM Association, University of Edinburgh – among many others. He has also undertaken project work for many early to mid-stage venture capital funded organisations

Jeff has written thought leadership reports and created online web content for dozens of clients operating in the IT, telecommunications, business services and financial services sectors. Jeff has held senior management roles at Research International (London) and Response Analysis Corp (Princeton, NJ) and is also a former Head of Marketing Communications for a global division of 3Com. He has an Honours Degree in Economics from Queen’s University Belfast (one of the UK’s top Russell Group universities) and is a Full Member of the Market Research Society – and holds the Society’s post-graduate Diploma. He published a book on Customer Relationship Management in 2002 (Butterworth, Boston).
